Jon Brown has over 35 years of experience in the mining industry, working with companies and organizations such as Kinross Gold, Nevada Mining Association, and DuPont in environmental permitting and mine management. Jon is a geologist with an MBA from Georgia State University who noticed real water problems in the mining industry that are only expected to be exacerbated as water becomes more scarce and mining production increases in the near future. Jon believes the Solar Aqua Flex is a transformative technology that will promote real progress toward a sustainable future in the mining industry. 

Drew Horseman is a Ph.D. candidate at Vanderbilt University working in Dr. Shihong Lin's group at the cutting edge of water treatment and desalination research. Drew lead an award winning team who developed the proof-of-concept Solar Aqua Flex prototype based on his strong understanding of solar thermal water treatment and membrane separation processes. Drew is a spirited entrepreneur who is dedicated to bringing the Solar Aqua Flex system to market.
